TAUL SING-SING MASK
   
 
This fine hardwood mask is known by the local people of Taul Village, East Sepik Province,
 
by it's traditional name, “Laminj Yain”.  The mask has been used over time in customary Sing-Sings
 
where it was often cleaned of remnant clay pigments and adorned with new attachments for
 
ongoing ceremonial use.
